About Joy

(she/her/hers)

Joy is a polyamorous, queer, sex-positive, mom-of-two. She specializes in working with neurodivergent and queer teens, adults who identify as LGBTQIA+, consensually non-monogamous, or kinky, and people who experience chronic pain. For 20 years, Joy described her job as “teaching teenagers to think.” Many students who struggled with anxiety, ADHD, autism, learning challenges, test anxiety, and school reluctance/refusal found their way to her for tutoring and alternative education. Joy received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University and her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Berkeley.
